
About Michael Davidov
As an attorney in private practice in Forest Hills, Michael Davidov provides a wide range of estate planning services to his clients, with a primary focus on helping them provide for the security of their loved ones, reduce the estate taxes and avoid or at least minimize the costs and delays of probate, all with a well-crafted estate plan. Mr. Davidov, who oversees the estate planning practice at Davidov & Davidov, is devoted to providing clients with the best in estate planning services. Mr. Davidov, an active member of his community, is well aware of the growing importance of estate planning, and dedicates himself to informing the public of the need for careful attention to their specific situations. Mr. Davidov’s experience includes working in one of the highest rated teaching clinics in elder law in the nation. There, he learned estate planning techniques including drafting wills, living trusts, power of attorneys and health care directives. His practice included counseling clients in estate planning and administration, Medicaid planning, and elder law. Mr. Davidov also has experience working in the federal courts and for a Manhattan litigation firm. A member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, Mr. Davidov also belongs to the Queens County and New York State Bar Associations. He also serves as Legal Counsel for City Title Agency, LLC, an affiliated company to Davidov & Davidov, P.C.
Education
Mr. Davidov, a longtime resident of Queens County, graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in Bayside, and then obtained a Bachelors degree from Stony Brook University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Law degree from City University of New York, where he was a staff writer for the New York City Law Review. Mr. Davidov, through his exclusive membership in the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, takes in excess of 36 hours of Continuing Legal Education in estate planning and taxation each year.
Personal
Mr. Davidov is married to his law practice partner, Ilana F. Davidov, and together they raise their three wonderful young boys. Mr. Davidov devotes much of his free time to serving the community and is actively involved as a board member of local not-for-profit organizations. He also speaks Hebrew and Russian.
